To provide a good argument one must use strategies in order to attract the audience to the topic and keep them interested in the subject. The first step that one can take into consideration is assessing the audience: determine who is your audience and what expectations the listeners have and what are their opinions on the topic. Audiences play a major role in determining the success of the presentation. To provide for a good audience, the writer must identify the demographics of the listeners. For example, a presentation that is being delivered to adults is different from one that is presented for children, even if it discusses the same topic. Become familiar with your audience and their types of opinions towards related subjects to deliver a clear message.
